Jagvir Malhi identified as Abbotsford’s latest homicide victim

Abbotsford police responded to report of an injured man in the intersection of Simpson and Ross roads around 3:30pm on November 12th.

Police arrived at the scene to find people performing CPR on 19-year-old Jagvir Malhi, who was suffering from a gunshot wound.  Malhi was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Jonathon Shingoose found dead in Port Coquitlam

Coquitlam RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 2300-block of Atkins Avenue in Port Coquitlam, On November 4th at approximately 5:44am.

Police arrived to find  Jonathon Shingoose, 36, suffering from serious injuries. Shingoose was rushed to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

Elwood Poorman was arrested on November 9th and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Shingoose.

22-year-old shot to death in Surrey’s latest homicide

Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a person on the ground outside of a home in the 14200-block 70A Avenue, on November 9th at approximately 1:30am.

Police said they found the 22-year-old victim who had been shot. He was pronounced deceased. The shooting happened a few blocks from Vanier Elementary School and two day-cares.

Rizig Bona charged with the death of his wife Anida Magaya

Emergency crews responded to a report of an injured female at a home in the 16100-block of 110 Avenue in Surrey, on October 5th.

Police arrived to find 42-year-old Anida Magaya deceased inside the home with injuries consistent with homicide.

Magaya’s husband,  44-year-old Rizig Bona, was arrested and charged with second degree murder in relation to her death.

RCMP investigating a suspicious death in Redstone BC

Alexis Creek RCMP were called to a residence at Redstone BC on October 19th at approximately 11:08 pm.

Police arrived to find an adult male, deceased. Police said the death is suspicious in nature and have taken one adult male in custody. No other information has been released at this time.

Kyle Tyler Gilpin 23, has been arrested and has been charged with Second Degree Murder

Wesley Dean Rideout, identified as Surrey’s latest homicide victim

Surrey RCMP was called to an Esso Station near 104 Ave and King George Boulevard on October 21, at approximately 2:45am on report of an assault. Police said the caller and the assault victim ran away prior to police arriving.

Surrey RCMP was notified by the BC Coroner Service at approximately 240pm, on the same day, that the victim had died in hospital from his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Wesley Dean Rideout, 39. Rideout is known to police and they believe his death was targeted.

Sumeet Randhawa shot to death in Surrey BC

Surrey RCMP responded to report of a shooting in the 6700-block of 130 Street, on October 11th, just before 2:00pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find  30-year-old Sumeet Randhawa of Surrey, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life saving measures, Randhawa was pronounced at the scene.

Mr. Randhawa was known to police and they believe the attack was targeted.

Kyle Cromarty dies of gunshot wounds in Chilliwack

Chilliwack RCMP responded to reports of shots fired in the 46000-block of Yale Road, on October 4th at approximately 2:40pm.

27-year-old Kyle Cromarty, was found suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. Cromarty was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Varinderpal Gill found dead in a pickup truck in the parking lot of a Mission BC Mall

Police said 19-year-old Varinderpal Singh Gill was murdered in the parking lot of The Junction Shopping Centre on October 3rd at approximately 9:00pm.

Gill inside a pickup truck suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when police and paramedics arrived. He was pronounced at the scene.

Varinderpal Gill was known to police, and  on August 15th, police released a warning about Gill being serious risk to public safety due to his involvement in the Metro Vancouver gang conflict.

Solaris Dey charged with manslaughter in the death of Richmond BC woman

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team reported that 19-yr-old Aspen Pallot was found dead in a home in 7000-block of Westminster Hwy at 12:14am this morning.on October 4th.

Police have not released the cause of death at this time. Solaris Onatta Running Dey, 23, was arrested and charged with manslaughter.
