The 2025 Regina Homicide Victim List is available here

The Regina Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation into the death of 35-year-old Aron Lunan, a Regina resident, which is now being treated as a homicide.

On June 10, 2025, RCMP officers responded to a report of a body found in a rural area near Grand Coulee. Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes initially led the investigation into the suspicious death. As the case developed, evidence suggested the incident may have originated within Regina, prompting the Regina Police to assume responsibility for the investigation.

Authorities are asking anyone who had contact with Lunan between the afternoon of Monday, June 9, and the morning of Tuesday, June 10, to come forward.

Update: On July 3rd Regina police announced that 24-year-old Britain VOLK has been arrested and charged with, First-Degree Murder.

 Tyler Edwards, and Kayla Mitton were also charged with murder.
