An investigation into two suspicious deaths in Sherbrooke has been handed over to the Sûreté du Québec. Around 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 15th, police responded to a call on Ball street and found a seriously injured 38-year-old man outside a home on Ball Street.
Inside, they discovered a 32-year-old woman unconscious with life-threatening injuries. The 38-year-old man was severely injured outside. Both individuals were taken to the hospital, where the woman was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The man died from his injuries a few hours later.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) confirms that these are two murders. The exact nature of the injuries and the motive remain unclear.
