Regina police arrest, “Juma” Daniel Drie ATEM and Shedrek SAMUEL- Regina police investigate the 2023 homicide of Roman MILLER near the Regina General Hospital

Regina police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Broad Street for an injured male on July 29th, 2023 at approximately 2:25 a.m.

Police said the victim 32 year-old Roman MILLER was pronounced deceased at the scene shortly after by EMS.

Update: August 3rd
Police are searching for 30 year-old “Juma” Daniel Drie ATEM.

ATEM is described as having a dark complexion, thin build, 6’3” tall, roughly 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said the second suspect 25 year-old Shedrek SAMUEL turned himself into police in British Columbia in late February 2024.

Update: Daniel “Juma” ATEM was arrested Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in Winnipeg. ATEM is charged with:

First-Degree Murder [CC 235(1)].

ATEM will make his first appearance in court in Winnipeg on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He will then be transported to Regina. A court date in Regina is pending.
