On October 1, 2023, at approximately 11:00 am, 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a suspicious sudden death in Lone Butte.

On arrival Police, Fire and EHS located a 66-year-old man who was ultimately declared deceased at scene.

E Division Major Crime Section has assumed conduct of the investigation. If anyone has information on this matter is asked to call the 100 Mile RCMP Detachment at (250) 395-2456.
