Peel police attended a wellness check at 25 Princess street in Mississauga on August 16th at approximately 8:00am.

Police located a man and a woman found deceased inside a residence with signs of trauma. The victim’s identities have not been released.

Peel police media officer Const. Mandeep Khatra said the incident poses no risk to public safety.

Update: The deceased have been identified as Anna Monika Kuraczycka, 46, and Constantino Figueiredo, 54. Police said both victims had clear signs of trauma, however, they have no information yet on the weapon used or motive.

No suspects have been taken into custody at this time. The homicide investigation into this incident is ongoing.
