Prince Albert police were called to the 1500 block of 5th Avenue East following a report of a deceased man at around 3:30 p.m. on July 29, 2025.

Police, along with Parkland Ambulance, arrived promptly and confirmed the presence of a deceased male at the location. The Forensic Identification Section and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service were also brought in to assist at the scene.

An autopsy was carried out on July 30, 2025, and the individual has been identified as 39-year-old Wayne Keller. His family has been notified.

No arrests have been made in connection with this homicide at this time.
