25-Year-Old Bradford Man Charged With First-Degree Murder After Body Found in Home

South Simcoe Police responded to a call for a well-being check at 382 Britannia Ave in Bradford on July 31st at approximately 7:30pm.

Upon entering the residence, police discovered a deceased person. During their investigation and a further search of the home, officers found another individual who was arrested at the scene in connection with the death.

A 25-year-old man from Bradford West Gwillimbury has been charged with first-degree murder. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on August 1, 2025, at the Barrie Courthouse.
