Police went to check on the welfare of a man at around 3:45pm on June 6th after receiving a call from a social worker. Police arrived to the house on Lemieux Street to find the 29 year old man dead.

One news outlet has said the victim had been stabbed several times and wrapped in plastic wrap.

A 30 year old male was taken by ambulance to a hospital as he was suffering from some psychological trauma. Police said he is facing a first degree murder charge and indignity to a body charges.

Kofi Kwao Boakye was allegedly found in a closet at the home. Jonathan Gariepy 30 has been arrested and charged with first degree murder.
