Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to reports of a shooting near 246 Street and 124 Avenue on August 13th at approximately 12:22 a.m.

Police located an unresponsive individual with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle on Dewdney Trunk Road in the 24000-block. Despite emergency efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken over the case and is working closely with Ridge Meadows RCMP.
