The 2024 Ontario Homicide Victim List is available here

Durham Region Police were called to a home on Eulalie Avenue in Oshawa, on November 17th at approximately 12:30 a.m.

On arrival, police located 48-year-old Parween ADEL with visible injuries. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center with visible injuries but has since been pronounced deceased.

The victim’s husband Hakim ADEL, age 41, of Oshawa has been charged with Second Degree Murder.

He was held for a bail hearing.
