Update: Devon Wynne arrested for second degree murder in relation to the death of Jayco Partridge in Ottawa

Ottawa police and paramedics were called to a report of a stabbing near Hannah Street and Montreal Road at approximately 6:20am on January 22nd.

Oh arrival police located 40-year-old Jayco Partridge suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition where he died of his injuries.

Ottaea Police Homicide Unit is requesting the public’s assistance to locate Devon WYNNE, 28 years old (pictured). He is wanted for second degree murder in relation to the homicide.

Update January 28th
Ottawa police announced that Devon WYNNE was arrested by the South Neighbourhood Response Team (NRT) in Ottawa on January 26th.

Update: Devon Wynne was found guilty of second degree murder last October 2023.

Update May 18th 2024
Devon Wynne was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 10 years for the “violent and unprovoked” murder of Jayko Partridge.
