Calgary police responded to  a check on welfare of two residences in Calgary on July 31st. Upon arrival at the first residence in the 2000 block of Applevillage Court S.E., police found a deceased female.

Police arrived at the second residence in the 10100 block of Hidden Valley Drive N.W to find a deceased male and deceased female.

Police say the incidents are related and not random. The Medical Examiner is currently at both scenes.

No Other information can be released at this time.

Update August 2
Dustin Duthie, 25, has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder. He will next appear in court on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018. Duthie is accused in the deaths of his girlfriend Taylor Toller, mother Shawn Boshuck and stepfather Alan Pennylegion.
