Police were called to a residence on Elsipogtog First Nation on July 28th at approximately 2:30am on report of an unresponsive woman.

Police arrived to find a 22-year-old woman deceased in front of the home. Police have not released the identity of the victim or cause of death at this time.

A man has been taken into custody and is being assessed in hospital. No other details have been released.
