Edmonton police were called to the area east of 99 Street on Jasper Avenue, by the Edmonton Convention Centre, on a report of an altercation on September 30th at approximately 10:30pm.
Police arrived at the scene to find a 34-year-old man suffering from a stab wound. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. Police have not released the identity of the deceased at this time.
A 36-year-old man has been taken into custody, however, no charges have been laid. Anyone with information about this death to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
