Lanark Couty OPP responded to the area of North Street North and Sherbrooke Street East in Perth on October 25th at approximately 3:00pm.

On arrival, police located a 15-year-old male deceased. The victim has been identified as 15-year-old Reese Stanzel.

a 16-year-old who police say identifies as female was arrested at a home, and charged with second-degree murder.

Update: OPP said on November 28th that the investigation has resulted in the charge being elevated to first-degree murder under section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.
