15-year-old charged with second degree murder – Winnipeg police investigating the city’s 19th homicide

Winnipeg Emergency crews responded to report of an altercation where a man was seriously injured in the 300 block of Alfred Avenue, on May 26th at 9:20pm.

A male victim was located and rushed to hospital, where he died of his injuries. No other information is available at this time.

Update June 6th
Police have identified the deceased as Dorian Glenn Sanderson, 17, and said Sanderson died as a result of a gunshot wound. A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

Update July 8th
Winnipeg police arrested a second 15-year-old male on July 4th and charged him with Second Degree Murder.
