The 2023 Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here

Winnipeg Police Service responded to the area of the 200 block of Amherst Street on March 6th at approximately 1:00am.

On arrival police located a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds. Both teens were rushed to hospital where the 15-year-old died of his injuries.

No arrests have been made, and the Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. Anyone with information about this shooting-related homicide is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS(8477).
