Windsor police responded to a call for a disturbance at a house in the 1400 block of Southdale Drive on November 14th at approximately 9:30 a.m.

On arrival, officers discovered 67-year-old Janice Madison suffering from stab wounds. Madison was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

Wellington Holland, of Windsor, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with first-degree murder. 

Police said additional details will not be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.
