On October 2nd Shamattawa RCMP received information in the investigation involving Grant Redhead 38, who had been missing since August 19, 2021.

Investigators determined that Redhead was the victim of a homicide. Frankie Trout, 41, and Marisa Redhead, 28, were arrested on October 3rd. Trout has been charged with Second Degree Murder and remains in custody. Marisa Redhead is charged with Manslaughter and remains in custody. RCMP said Marisa is related to Grant, but did not elaborate on their relationship.
