Toronto police responded to a call for a shooting in the Jane Street and Shoreham Drive area at approximately 11:50 pm on March 2nd.
On arrival police found Shaun Kinghorn, 44, of Toronto, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Kinghorn was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
Witnesses have described the suspect as a black male, wearing dark clothing. He fled the scene in a light-coloured sedan which was last seen travelling southbound on Jane Street.
