Toronto police responded to an altercation in  officers attended a call in the Dufferin Street and Bloor Street West area on December 5th at approximately 4:00am.

According to reports, two men were in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical fight. The victim was knocked unconscious and rushed to hospital by paramedics where he died of his injuries. The victim has been identified as Paluku Sewe, 47, of no fixed address.

Police arrested Marlon Davis, 30, of Toronto, and charged him with second degree murder.

Investigators are requesting anyone in the area who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have dash-cam and/or cell phone video to contact the police at 416-808-1400.
