Toronto Homicide #60 – Firdous Nabizada, dies in hospital after a stabbing at a Halloween party

On October 31, 2019, at approximately 11:41 p.m., Toronto police responded to a report of a stabbing at 22 Madison Avenue.

Police said it is alleged that Jacob Alves, 19, of no fixed address, randomly attacked other individuals in line trying to get into the party after being ejected from the party following an altercation.

Firdous Nabizada, 19, of Toronto was injured in the stabbing and was taken to hospital by friends. Nabizada succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased in hospital on November 3rd.

Jacob Alves, has been charged with second-degree murder. He is expected to again appear in court at College Park on Monday, November 4, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 501.
