Update, Suspect found deceased – Hamilton Homicide #11 / 12: Hamilton police are investigating a double homicide on the Central Mountain

Hamilton Police responded to an address on the Central Mountain early evening on November 2dn, to check on the well-being of the residents.

Police arrived at the home to find a deceased man and woman, both of whom had been shot. According to HPS the shooting appears to be targetted. The victims have been identified as Donald Lowe, 62, and Cheryl Nicholl, 32.

Police are looking for 35-year-old David Thomson. He is described as white, male, 6’1 and approximately 190 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous. The suspect may be driving a grey 2013 Dodge Ram pickup with licence AX70104 or a black 2014 GM Sierra with licence plate AY43816.

Update November 4th
In the early morning hours on Monday, November 4, 2019, Hamilton Police Service Major Crime Unit confirmed that David Thomson, 35, was located at a motel in Brantford. Police arrived at the motel to find Thomson deceased in the room. Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the double homicide.
