Toronto Homicide #36 – Mohamed Sow dies following shooting at a plaza

Toronto police responded to the report of a shooting at a plaza located at 251 Woolner Ave at approximately 10:17pm on July 10th.

It has been reported that the suspect entered the plaza through the back parking lot and opened fire on five people. Mohamed Sow, 21, died from his injuries in hospital on July 12th. No other information is available at this time.

Update August 21st
The Emergency Task Force, 12 Division Officers and Homicide investigators arrested Malique Francis-Taylor, 20, of Toronto, on August 21st. Francis-Taylor has been charged with First Degree Murder in the fatal shooting of Mohamed Sow.
