On Sunday, April 14, 2024, at approximately 4:48 p.m., Toronto police responded to the report of a Shooting in the area of Lawrence Avenue West and Ralph Street.

On arrival police located Mohamud Abdi Duale, 32, of Toronto suffering from gunshot injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Update: On Thursday, July 25, 2024, Omar Mohamed, 32, of Edmonton, Alberta, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
