Winnipeg Police Service responded to a wellbeing check on July 15th at approximately 11:00am at a hotel in the 1600 block of Regent Avenue West.

On arrival police located Belton Mason, 33, of St. Theresa Pointe deceased within one of the suites.

As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old male from St. Theresa Point was arrested and is facing the charge of manslaughter.
