Calgary police said a man was rushed to Foothills Medical Centre with injuries reported to have been sustained from a fall on March 18th at 3:24pm.

The man died in hospital on March 19th and due to several inconsistencies in the man’s injuries, police were notified, and the Homicide Unit has taken charge of the investigation.

Police believe that the victim was involved in an altercation prior to his death. As a result of the investigation Scott MIDFORD, 31, has since been charged with manslaughter. Police said the victim and accused were known to each other.
