Battlefords RCMP responded to a report of a sudden death in Moosomin First Nation on June 4th at approximately 5:45 a.m.

On arrival police located an adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene by Paramedics. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Tyler Mooswa from Moosomin First Nation.

RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate and residents of Moosomin First Nation may notice an increased police presence in the community.

Update: Wade Frenchman, 31, has been charged with first-degree murder.
