sland Lake RCMP received a report of a suspicious death in Red Sucker Lake First Nation on June 3rd.

Police said a two-year-old male was taken to the local Nursing Station in medical distress where he died of his injuries.

RCMP said the death is considered suspicious and is being investigated by Island Lake RCMP, RCMP Major Crime Services, and the RCMP Forensic Identification Unit.
