RCMP lay charges in relation to the homicide of 67-year-old Robert Charles Marshall in Breton Alberta

Breton RCMP responded to a welfare check on a male at a rural property in Brazeau County on October 17th. Police located a deceased male while doing a property search.

An autopsy was performed on the deceased who has been identified as 67-year-old Robert Charles Marshall, on October 19th. The medical examiner determined the manner of death is a homicide, the cause of death has not been released.

RCMP have charged a 37-year-old individual, a resident of Rimbey, Alta. with second-degree murder. RCMP are not able to comment further, as the matter is before the courts.
