North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP responded to the report of a stabbing at Kenneth Street and Jubilee Street intersection on July 16th at approximately 3:00am.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a 33-year-old man who was stabbed multiple times. The victim was rushed to hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) is now leading the homicide investigation with help from the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.
