Rosthern RCMP responded to a report of a shooting on Beardy’s and Okemasis’ Cree Nation on March 27th at approximately 5:50pm.

On arrival located an injured 22-year-old male from Saskatton on a road. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim died of his injuries. Police said they will not be releasing his name at this time.
