The Manitoba 2022 Homicide Victim List is available here

Thompson RCMP responded to a report of an assault of a 29-year-old male at a residence in York Factory First Nation on March 26th.

The victim was transported to the Nursing Station, where he was pronounced deceased. According to RCMP the victim was at a social gathering when he was assaulted by another man.

As a result of the investigation, Trevor Saunders, 30, from York Landing has been charged with Manslaughter and remains in custody.
