The 2021 BC Homicide Victim List is available here

Police were called to a home in the 900- block of Frenchman Road on February 6th.

Police arrived at the address to find a severely injured man. The victim died from his injuries on the way to the Hospital. A Sayward man was arrested at the scene but was released without charges. Police say they are not looking for any other suspects in relation to the murder.

Police will not be releasing the victim’s identity at this point in their investigation.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and there are no ongoing public safety concerns. Anyone with information is asked to call the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit at 250-380-6211.
