Prince Rupert RCMP responded to a report of a male victim being stabbed at his residence in the 600 block of 7th Ave West in Prince Rupert on September 26, 2024 at approximately 6:00am.

RCMP and EHS, said the 56-year victim died of his injuries at the hospital a short time later.

Prince Rupert General Investigation Section is leading the investigation with assistance from North District Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Section and Terrace General Investigation Section.

Police are requesting anyone with information, noticed suspicious persons or vehicles in the area at that time to contact the Prince Rupert RCMP at (250) 624-2136.
