The 2023 Surrey Homicide victim list is available here

Surrey police were called to the report of an unresponsive man in the driver’s seat of a white Ford Edge SUV located in an alley near 96 Avenue and 130 Street on July 9th at approximately 5:07pm.

The victim was pronounced deceased at hospital. His name has not been released.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken carriage of the case. Surrey RCMP Sgt. Tammy Lobb said “Police are investigating whether a burnt out vehicle located a short time later in the area of 8200-block of 151A Street is connected to the homicide”

Update: On July 11th the IHIT identified the victim as, Pavanbar Paul Mannan, of Surrey.
