Toronto police responded to a shooting in the area of Davenport Rd. & Osler St. on July 22nd at approximately 5:06am.

On arrival, police located an adult male with gunshot wounds. Investigators said Life-saving measures were performed; however, the man could not be saved. The victim has been identified as Ikeba Fraser, 30, of Toronto.

Police believe the shooting was targeted. Toronto police Acting Insp. Phil Sinclair stated that the shooting took place in a residential area located very close to the 11 Division police station.

The Homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
