Edmonton police said Peter Penac was shot on August 5th while sitting in his vehicle in a northwest Edmonton at approximately 9:50pm.

Penac was rushed to hospital and treated for the gunshot wound. Peter Penac dies of his injuries on August 7th.

Police believe the assailant fled the scene in a Vehicle is believed
to be a 1998-2003 red, two door, Ford Escort (pictured below).
