Peel police and paramedics were called to the report of multiple gunshots a home on Odeon Street, in Brampton on December 4th at approximately 11:30pm.

A video on X shows two men outside clearing snow off a vehicle when a light-colored vehicle pulled up. Two men exited, and one began shooting at close range.

One victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The second victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released the identity of the victims at this time.

Update: According to The Toronto Star Peel police spokesperson Const. Richard Chin confirmed the identity as 26-year-old Pritpal Singh. Investigators believe the shooting is related to another that happened a short time later in Caledon, in which no one was hurt.
