Laval police responded to the report of a shooting on boulevard Curé-Labelle on May 8th at around 1:00am.

Police said there were four victims in a vehicle when the shooting occured. A 28-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other three injured people were transported to a hospital. Two of them suffered minor injuries while the other is in critical condition.

Investigators said the victims were not known to police. No arrests have been made.
