VPD were called to the report of an assault at Crab Park around 10.20 a.m. on May 7th.

On arrival police located Andrew Wadden, a 45-year-old Vancouver resident, suffering from serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts by VPD, BC Ambulance Services and Vancouver Fire and Rescue Service the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Eric Kim, 26, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. On May 9th, 18-year-old David Bentil was also arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
