Calgary police were called to the 0 – 100 block of Everwoods Court S.W., for reports of a shooting with two victims.

On arrival police located Nakita Baron, 31, and her husband Talal Fouani, 46, suffering from gunshot wounds in their Bentley. Baron was pronounced at the scene, and Fouani was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

According to reports, the couple were shot at as they were pulling out of their driveway. Their car ended up in the driveway across the road.

As a result of the investigation Michael Tyrel ARNOLD, 34, of Sherwood Park, was arrested by the Edmonton Police Service on Thursday, Aug. 25th. Calgary Police have charged ARNOLD with one count of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Police continue to investigate the motive.

* Michael Tyrel Arnold was charged with the 2019 murder of Arthur Charles Edward Beauchamp in Edmonton. Arnold was granted bail and was released on August 3rd of this year.

Arnold also has a history of drug trafficking charges, assault charges, with assault and weapons offences, he is also subject to a lifetime firearms ban.
