Fifteen month old Nathaniel McLellan died in a London Hospital on October 31st 2015. The cause of death was severe head trauma, the result of violent impact.

According to a five part series by The Toronto Star, the toddler collapsed at an unlicensed home daycare in Strathroy. The Daycare operator then alerted Nathaniel’s parents who took him to the hospital.

42-year-old Meggin Van Hoof of Strathroy was arrested on June 23rd, 2021 and charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of 15-month-old Nathaniel McLellan.
