Bay Roberts RCMP received a report of an unresponsive man at a commercial accommodation in Roaches Line on June 22nd at approximately 9:00pm.

Police and paramedics located the unresponsive man who was transported to Carbonear General Hospital, where he died of his injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.

Police arrested Patrick Sulurayok,30, of Nunavut and charged him with second degree murder.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
