Edmonton police responded to an address in near 107 Street and 83 Avenue at approximately 5:10 on March 15th for a check on welfare.

Police arrived to find Marlon Jair Nunez, 39, deceased inside a suite in that complex. An autopsy was performed by the Edmonton Medical Examiner on March 13th, and revealed the cause of death to be stab wounds.

Update March 17

Edmonton police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Kyle Lauman 35. Lauman is wated for second degree murder in the death od Marlon Jair Nunez.

Lauman is described as being a heavy set black male, 5’5” tall and 211 pounds with brown eyes. He has short, black hair, with a moustache and thin goatee. Both of his ears are pierced. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lauman should contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
