Barry Wheadon found deceased in a Westlock Alberta Apartment being investigated as a homicide

RCMP responded to the report of an unresponsive man in a building located at 10540 103rd Street in the town of Westlock on June 9th at approximately 10:30am.

Barry Wheadon was pronounced deceased at the scene. More information will be added as it becomes available.

An autopsy is scheduled for June 11th in Edmonton. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Westlock RCMP detachment at 780-349-4491.

Update June 9th 2022
As the result of an investigation by the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit, on June 7, 2022, officers arrested Eddy Trindle (20). Trindle has been charged with Second-degree Murder.

Trindle has been remanded in custody with his next court appearance set for June 22, 2022, at Westlock Provincial Court.
