Windsor police responded to an assault at a home on the 3100 block of Wyandotte Street West.

Officers found that a 53-year-old man had suffered life-threatening injuries after being pushed down the stairs during a fight inside the house. The suspect had left before police arrived.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Investigators identified the suspect as 45-year-old Kevin Christopher Harris. He turned himself in at Windsor Police headquarters that afternoon and was charged with second-degree murder.
