Ottawa police were called to the 100 block of George Street on Thursday, September 12, 2024, just after 10:30 p.m.

Police and paramedics located Stephen Pedicelli, 45-years-old, of Montreal, who had been stabbed. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Ottawa police have arrested and charged Jean Paul Theragne, 31, of Ottawa with second-degree murder. He appeared in court earlier on Friday.
