Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment RCMP (UFVRD) were called to the 59400-block of St. Elmo Road, in Hope, after a report of a shooting on August 20th at 2:50 a.m.

On arrival police located a 28-year-old man suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.

A suspect, identified at the onset of the investigation, has now been located and arrested.
